The Portia Juliet Balcony is a classic Juliet Balcony system and due to its cost-effectiveness is widely popular. The Portia system has no vertical posts meaning that it allows for those uninterrupted views whilst providing safety with its handrail.
The Portia designer is much easier for our DIY customers than some of our other Juliet Balcony systems, as it uses 12mm toughened glass. This glass is much lighter and easier to lift than the toughened laminated glass that is used in our other systems.
The Portia has a fixing point in each corner (4 in total) and the glass is cut to size and fits between 2. This Juliet Balcony sits between 100 – 150mm over the edge of the French doors and it can be supplied up to lengths of 2.4m! Not to worry if your span is larger than 2.4m, you can look at our other ranges of Juliet Balconies that can be supplied to fit bigger widths.
